Indian PUBG Mobile Team 8bit Legends lead the PUBG Mobile Crew Challenge after Round 1

What's the story?

8bit Legends, an Indian team, finished the PUBG Mobile Crew Challenge Season 2 Qualifying Round in the first place on the Asian servers, and thereby, qualified for the Preliminaries round in a comfortable fashion.

In case you didn't know...

PUBG Mobile Crew Challenge Season 2 began in December 2018 where teams' could participate in Battle Royale matches on PUBG Map Erangel to be crowned as the champions of this season.

The Qualifying Round featured up to 12 matches, out of which, the best 8 were used to score the teams accordingly. The top-100 teams at the end of the round went on to qualify for the Preliminaries round.

The heart of the matter

8bit Legends managed to top the championship standings of the Qualifying Round on the Asian servers. The team, comprised of Avinash Umre, Ashish Bhatnagar, Chiranthan Shetty and Manmeet Singh, secured an overall tally of 5,505 points, over 100 points higher than the second-placed team.

Moreover, 8bit Legends managed to eliminate 176 opponents, which is the highest amongst the top-5 teams on the Asian Servers.

Following them in the second place is Kumaoun regiment with 5,375 points. N01Chine (5,220 points), KonYoLSquaD (5,185 points) and WFCD (5,145 points) complete the top-5 list.

Furthermore, regarding the team, owned by Animesh Agarwal, 8bit is an Indian Esports team that has managed to enter the Asian Finals of PUBG Mobile Star Challenge.

What's next?

The Preliminaries round will be held in the coming days, and the top-20 teams will qualify for the finals to earn a chance to win the coveted Crew Challenge title, and 8bit Legends would certainly want to come out on top to add another feather to their cap.
