The upcoming post-apocalyptic first-person action shooter game Metro Exodus is going to release a week earlier than its slated release date. Metro Exodus was slated to release on February 22, 2019, but since the game has gone gold and is slated to release a week earlier, that brings the release date to February 15, 2019.

February is going to be a busy month for the gaming industry, as games like Dead or Alive 6, Far Cry New Dawn, and Crackdown 3 will be released along with Metro Exodus. The choice to release Metro Exodus is most certainly a bold one, as there will be plenty of long-awaited titles coming in the same month. We also cannot ignore that the Resident Evil 2 remake release few weeks earlier may have a direct impact on Metro Exodus' sales.
