NetherRealm Studios upcoming fighting game Mortal Kombat 11 is slated to launch on April 23, 2019. The critically acclaimed long-running title Mortal Kombat is going to get a new addition in the series.
Mortal Kombat 11 main highlight is going to be its story which involves time travel. After the events of Mortal Kombat X, Raiden switches to the more direct way of dealing with the threats to Earthrealm. Though our new antagonist Kronika the keeper of time has other plans for him. Kronika who is speculated as the strongest antagonist in the entire Mortal Kombat series is going to alter time.
Mortal Kombat 11's story may be a highlight of the upcoming game, but we should not ignore the fact that Mortal Kombat 11 with a new level of details, fluid and flawless gameplay mechanics, and some of the old returning characters. Mortal Kombat 11 Story
Mortal Kombat 11 follows the story from where we left in Mortal Kombat X ending. Cassie Cage managed to defeat Shinnok in Mortal Kombat X. Though Raiden was corrupted, now he seeks to destroy anyone who threatens the Earthrealm.
However, a mysterious goddess named Kronika, who calls herself the "Keeper of Time," is attempting to bring order to the universe through any means necessary, including getting rid of Raiden for tampering with the events of the past in the previous game.
Mortal Kombat 11's story will time travel through all the games in the series. Turning the previous events upside down, this also implies that we will see many old characters from the series returning in Mortal Kombat 11.
Kronika, the new antagonist, is going to change the entire flow of time. Raiden is going to seek help, characters will be battling their former selves.
