Play Magazine poll lets fans decide on 3 Legacy fighters for Street Fighter V

Street Fighter V

It looks like Capcom is letting fans decide which fighters will appear in the upcoming Street Fighter V. Play Magazine is running a survey which allows fans to vote for three legacy characters they would like to see included in the final build of Street Fighter V. The official Street Fighter Facebook page has publicly approved of the poll by reposting it on their wall.

The poll list consists of almost every character ever created for the Street Fighter franchise including those that have not appeared in the game for a long while. Some of the more popular choices for fans of the series have been early favourites like R.Mika and Karin as well as characters who have not appeared in Ultra Street Fighter IV. Charlie Nash is also an option in the poll though he is already a confirmed character for Street Fighter V.

Capcom announced the fifth instalment in the Street Fighter franchise last month. So far the only characters that have been confirmed for the game are main protagonists Ryu, Charlie Nash and Chun Li. There are also rumours that the full character roster will only consist of 16 fighters in total, but Capcom is yet to confirm this.

Street Fighter V will available exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and PC. Capcom has not announced a release date for the game yet. According to Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono’s statements, the game development is already 20% complete. If this is true then it could mean that fans can expect the game much earlier than initially predicted.

Meanwhile, you can head over to Play Magazine and vote for your favourite Street Fighter character.
