Of late, we have talked about quite a few concerning streamer-related events that have taken place on camera. With the sheer number of ‘IRL’ streamers who tend to stream large parts of their days, such incidents always have a possibility of taking place. Be it robberies, life threatening events, or simply embarrassing outbursts that resulted in bans, Twitch streamers have been through it all!

More often than not, it is a streamer’s recklessness or carelessness that might result in such events. However, a lot of times people get into trouble through no fault of their own, and when they are merely minding their own business. Recently, we saw a Pokemon Go streamer get into a similarly difficult situation, through absolutely no fault of his own.

What is even more concerning is that the streamer in question is very new, and has merely posted three individual streams on Twitch. xDeezzNutzx is a Twitch streamer whose first stream was live yesterday, ie. 8th October 2020. The streamer has 117 followers on the platform, and has only ever streamed Pokemon: Go.

In case you do not know, Pokemon Go involves real life movement to capture Pokemon. Players need to go to specific locations to play the game effectively. In this case, the streamer was minding his own business, as he could be seen trying to catch a ‘Croagunk’.

Croagunk is a Poison/fighting-type generation IV Pokemon. Regardless, as he went around playing the game, viewers heard two men who suddenly started engaging with him. The thieves attempt to rob him, as the streamer begins to explain that he is live.

However, they ask him to shut up. In the background, viewers can hear the sound of a physical confrontation, as the streamer tries to explain that he has nothing multiple times.

However, he is obviously in trouble, and towards the end, viewers can hear the thieves trying to get away. His phone meanwhile, goes into the automatic lock mode, as you can see in the picture above.

Regardless, the incident is rather chilling, and the streamer found himself without his phone within seconds. You can watch/hear the entire incident in the clip below.
