The company behind PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds made an announcement earlier this month, launching the Crew Challenge Season 2 for PUBG Mobile. The competition, initially open to registrations on 17 December 2018 was closed for new entries on 24 December 2018, and currently, the Crew Challenge's qualifying round is live, and this article covers all the details regarding the qualifying round.

The qualifying round will begin at the same time every day, and matchmaking would be done on a random basis to ensure unpredictability. However, only one map - Erangel would be available for the second season of Crew Challenge, meaning that one could not play the Crew Challenge in the brand-new snow map Vikendi.

After the registration, to participate in the qualifying round, one needs to enter the tournament page and create a team of four members to compete against other teams.

This tournament will feature three rounds - the qualifying round, the preliminaries and the finals.

The top 100 teams from the qualifying round will progress to the next round, and the ranking is decided on several factors including the number of kills one manages to accomplish in a round.

Each Crew would be allowed to compete in twelve matches, out of which the scores from the eight best matches would be used for the final tally. Moreover, one should remember that any cheating attempts by the Crews would result in immediate disqualification.

Each kill rewards the player with 15 points and becoming the last person standing nets a massive tally of 500 points. 365 points are awarded to the players' who finish second while 315 points are given as a reward to the players' who manage to finish third in a round.

Along with the top-3 players, points are also awarded to players who manage to finish as high as 20 in a Battle Royale round, with the final 16th-20th place bracket receiving 100 points.

PUBG Mobile is available for both iOS and Android devices.
