One of the main aspects of getting chicken dinners in PUBG Mobile is your ability to control recoil. An effective recoil control will increase your accuracy drastically and allow you to win more team fights.

What is Recoil?

If you are reading this article, you probably already know what recoil is. But for those of you who don't; recoil, in the simplest terms, is the upward movement of guns when you fire from them. Guns like the AKM and Groza have higher damage than guns like the M416 but still, people prefer the latter because it has lesser recoil.

So how do you control it?

Controlling recoil, in theory, is very simple. You just need to swipe downwards on your touchscreen while burst firing from automatic guns so that you may control recoil. A video about how to do this has been attached at the end of this article.

Learning recoil control is not very simple. It requires a lot of practice. It is suggested you jump into the training mode and practice controlling recoil with different guns. Practice swiping downwards with all the guns available in training mode. Professional players like Mortal do not use snipers. They make long distance shots with automatic guns as they have very impressive control over recoil.

Armory and Attachments

Going through the Armory located in the home screen of PUBG Mobile (right next to the inventory) will also be able to provide you with valuable insight on the damage of various guns, fire rate, and their recoil. The armory also shows the effect of different attachments such as the muzzles, mags, and foregrips when they are attached to guns.

The main item to control recoil is foregrips. Unfortunately, foregrips cannot be attached to 7.62mm guns, they can only be attached to most 5.56mm automatic guns. This is another reason why many people prefer 5.56mm guns over the 7.62mm ones.

Thus, going through the armory and then practicing swiping downwards in the practice mode in the game will definitely help you master the art of controlling recoil. Here is a video of professional Indian PUBG Mobile player - Mortal on how to control recoil effectively:
