PUBG Mobile update v0.13.0: Why this update is a very important one for the community

PUBG Mobile update v0.13.0 is coming tomorrow. Because of that, PUBG Mobile game servers were under maintenance for 6 hours today. Although the update is coming tomorrow, this new update has a big role in deciding the future of PUBG Mobile.

Among all the new features that are coming, the most important one is the addition of Anti-cheat system. Now you might be wondering, what makes it so special? I don't know if you already know it or not, but the number of hackers and cheaters are on the rise. And this is wrecking the PUBG Mobile gaming environment havoc. Hackers are violating the fair play rules of the game and that is affecting the whole gaming environment.

Cheating methods include bypassing the Tencent Gaming buddy (where the emulators will not be detected and the cheater will be matched with the mobile players), using aimbot (cheaters can aim very easily, they can even do headshots with all the gunfires), wall hacks (bullets will go through walls), high jumps, no recoil etc. So, you can understand how much damaging these can be towards a fair play gaming environment.

A few days ago official PUBG Mobile had posted,

"Dear PUBG MOBILE players,
We have always strived to deliver a gaming environment that is fair and enjoyable for each and every player. It has come to our attention that some players have been cheating in PUBG MOBILE matches. Such acts compromise the integrity of the rules and are detrimental to the PUBG MOBILE experience.
We take this issue very seriously; as such, each account in violation has received a 10-year ban. We would like to remind all players about the importance of fair play, and thank you for keeping PUBG MOBILE fair and fun."

and now with this update, they are implementing the Anti-cheat system which is indeed great news for the community,

"Upgraded 3rd party app prevention system and enhanced detection of cheating behavior via Virtual App, emulators and modifiers."
