Good PUBG news fans! Maybe this is the news that you have been waiting for a long time. Yes, a brand new PUBG game is in the development, led by veteran industry developer Glen Schofield who has worked on some major titles such as Dead Space and Call of Duty.

PUBG has started its life as a Mod of Arma 2 and later developed its own game. Since its release in 2017, PUBG has gained massive popularity over the years. It has achieved a couple of records, became one of the most influential games and even after the tough fights with the other battle royale games, it kept its strong presence in the battle royale genre. So, now maybe its time for a brand new game to hold their position as an industry leader.

Last night, official PUBG Twitter handle has posted this amazing news about their upcoming game. They are branching out a new game developing studio under PUBG corporation, named as 'Striking Distance' to develop the new game The new studio will be based in San Ramon, California and it is fully owned by PUBG corporation.

Although we are not very clear about what is this new game about, according to Glen Schofield, this new game will "create an original narrative experience within the PUBG universe". In that introductory video, he has also mentioned that he is looking forward to "the freedom to explore the PUBG universe" which we generally call as Battle Royale. However, Schofield has hinted that the game may not be a battle royale.

Whatever the new game comes as, be it an adveture through the deserts of Miramar or a survival game based on any island like Sanhok, as a PUBG fan we all are excited and looking forward to the future announcements about this game.
