Rockstar Games' highly acclaimed title Red Dead Redemption 2 finally launched on PC earlier this month via Epic Games Store, but the developers have confirmed that the game is getting a Steam launch later next month as well.

The official information comes from Rockstar Games' Twitter account which tweeted the following:

If you still haven't played the game on PS4, keep in mind that you can get the Ultimate Edition of the game at 60% off right now via the Black Friday deals.

Red Dead Redemption 2's PC launch wasn't the most stable ones in recent memory. The game was poorly optimized and had several performance issues on even the most high-end gaming systems.

Rockstar Games did address the issues and released a patch earlier this month to fix the stuttering as well as some of the other major issues the game had at its launch.

Here's hoping that the Steam launch of the game will be relatively more stable and well optimized.

Red Dead Redemption 2 serves as the prequel to 2010's Red Dead Redemption which released back in 2010 on PS3 and Xbox 360. This time around you play as Arthur Morgan, one of the most prominent members of the Dutch van der Linde gang, the same gang which John Marston (the protagonist from the first game) used to run as well.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has a Metacritic score of 92/100 on PC and 97/100 on the PS4 and Xbox One.
