Souls games like Dark Souls series, Demon Souls, Bloodborne and Sekiro made us believe that videogames are not for everyone. The souls game shear level of difficulty makes many people drop the series. Souls games offer a linear game world filled with stories and lore which can be experienced only by self-exploration and paying attention to the game world and its NPC's and everything happening around you. Hidetaka Miyazaki became one of the famous video game directors in the entire gaming history after the success of the soul's games. Today we have gathered and ranked all the souls game released till now.

Demons Souls is what embarked us on a souls game journey that became harder and harder by each passing title. Demons Souls is the first ever made souls game from the game studio From Software. The game was made in association with SCE Japan Studio and was released on PlayStation 3. Demons Souls is a great souls game with some aspects similar to that of Bloodborne. Demons Souls is a good game and a tough one but among its own souls series, it stands at the bottom.

Dark Souls 2 is a direct sequel of Dark Souls, one of the best souls game ever made. Dark Souls offers beautiful graphics with the same realistic stamina controlled actions. Dark Souls 2 expanded the world of the soul's games. It includes PVP, PVE features which were quite fun to play after completing the game or impatient players can dig in right into the mode if they have few basic pre-requisites. Dark Souls 2 story, graphics, settings and other things offered by the game were great. Though there were souls games which offer a richer experience than what Dark Souls 2 offers.

Dark Souls is a prequel to Dark Souls 2, in terms of story and settings dark souls does a great job than dark souls 2. Dark Souls gave the best start of a great series, NPC's, enemies, locations, lore and story, each of these were far greater than we expected. Dark Souls is a superior title than dark souls 2, with the newly remastered version out we can say that dark soul is a better-looking game than dark souls 2.

3.) Dark Souls 3

Dark Souls 3 continues the story of Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 to a conclusion. Dark Souls 3 plot, graphics and gameplay are superior to its predecessors. Dark Souls 3 offers new gameplay mechanics and features which enhances the soul's game experience into a much richer one. The best thing I personally like about Dark Souls 3 was its NPC's and the little bit of character development that we get to see between the firekeeper and the Ashen one.

Sekiro Shadow Die Twice is a new take on the soul's game with a new intuitive Sengoku period setting and atmospheric environment which enhances the game experience by several folds. Sekiro Shadow Die Twice takes a different route than any other soul's game. Sekiro Shadow Die Twice is more story and character centric than any other souls game. Sekiro Shadow Die Twice may offer different ways to tackle enemies and the difficulty levels and bosses. Though at the same time Sekiro is far more punishing than any other soul's game.

1.) Bloodborne

Bloodborne offers the best gothic location and settings which enhances the quality of the game and supports its story quite well. Similar to Sekiro Bloodborne shows quite a unique approach to the souls series with some familiar elements. Bloodborne's music, atmospheric environments, interconnected world design, and plot, and is often regarded as an important example of videogames as art. Bloodborne offers a far richer souls game experience than any of its other titles among the souls series. Walking down the decrepit Gothic world of Yharnam, while battling varied enemies, bosses and NPC's were some of the great memories I have as a gamer. Bloodborne is one of the best souls game out there and without a doubt its the best game in the souls series.
