WWE 2K19 seems to be great this far

WWE 2K19 marks the return of the 2K WWE franchise as a successor of last year's WWE 2K18.

The cover this year features the WWE Champion AJ Styles. The game is set to release on October 9 and on October 5 for gamers who pre-ordered its deluxe edition.

The game thus far looks promising and great. Details of the game are nearly announced. Just 15 days are left before the game is available to play. Let us talk about the best and worst of WWE 2K19:

Hit: The return of the 2K Showcase

The 2K Showcase has returned after three years

With WWE 2K19, we are going to see the return of the 2K Showcase mode. For the first time since WWE 2K16, we would be able to play 2K Showcase mode.

This year's showcase mode features Daniel Bryan's career story Bryan Danielson to his retirement to his in-ring return at WrestleMania. It includes a total of 11 matches excluding a hidden match as a highlight of his WWE career. This far, the Showcase mode looks promising.

2K Showcase mode's return also makes sure that the Hall of Fame 2K Showcase mode might also return after a two-year absence. We will see what 2K says about that.

Miss: Where is the Face-Sheamus?

What was this Sheamus doing at WrestleMania 28?
What was this Sheamus doing at WrestleMania 28?

If you have watched the second trailer of the WWE 2K19 Showcase mode, you might have noticed a difference between the reality and what the game shows us.

What was the Irish heel-Sheamus doing at WrestleMania 28? Hadn't he been with this attire since 2015? During WrestleMania 28(2012), Sheamus used to be a face that everyone used to cheer with his old hair and beard.

But now, WWE 2K19 features a different Sheamus. It is not good especially when we have different attires for wrestlers like Randy Orton, Triple H, Chris Jericho, The Miz, Batista and more. They could have easily created one for Sheamus too. Is WWE trying to make us forget about the old Sheamus?

This year's MyCareer mode looks great

WWE 2K games have always lacked a great MyCareer mode. Since WWE 2K15, we have played the career mode but were disappointed. There was a need of correction in every 2K MyCareer. However, 2K might finally have given us what we wanted.

The WWE 2K19 MyCareer trailer reminds of NBA 2K games. Our wrestling journey starts as an Indie wrestler who reaches NXT and then achieves his dream by joining Raw or SmackDown. This year MyCareer includes the voice makeovers too.

The game consists of the voices of stars such as Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Triple H and Matt Hardy. The gameplay of the career looks great. I have not been a big fan of the career mode, but the way 2K has made improvements this year, it has become must-play.

Miss: No great improvements in WWE Universe mode

En
2K hasn't made many changes to the Universe mode

The Universe mode hasn't been much convincing since 2K has taken over from THQ. This year too, the game mode hasn't convinced either.

2K hasn't done many changes to the mode as it simply seems to be just like the older ones. The only changes made here are of Money In the Bank cash-in and Women's Money in the Bank being different.

They have also included women's Royal Rumble winner's rivalry and Survivor Series rivalry.

However, 2K forgot to increase the number of rivalry slots a show can have. How can a show with four titles be covered with three rivalry slots?

They haven't included the three on three tag team or multi-man rivalries. The fans who would have loved to play a rivalry between The Undisputed Era and the Shield might have to wait another year for 2K to develop that mode.

Hit: New match types and game modes

E
This seems awesome!

WWE games have always continued with same match types with no inclusion of new matches that take place in WWE over the years. However, 2K might have finally put an end to that problem.

The 2K has given us a new hope with the inclusion of brand new match types such as the Ultimate Deletion and Hounds of Horror match. 2K has also included game modes like the Big-Head mode and the Zombie mode.

With these inclusions, the game finally stands where THQ made it stand.

Miss: 2K lacks the Women's revolution

R
Ronda Rousey is the pre-order bonus in the game

We had high expectations from WWE 2K19, just like WWE has been doing, continue the women's revolution in the game. However, that might not be the case.

Many fans might have thought of WWE 2K including a MyCareer mode for women's division in WWE 2K19, but we might have to wait another year for that.

There is no Women's MyCareer for women. WWE could have also added a 2K Showcase featuring the women's division, that hasn't happened either. Other than that, many women legends have been missing from the game.

Former champions like Molly Holly, Michelle McCool, and Kelly Kelly have been missing from the game.

Other women like Torrie Wilson and Vickie Gurrero are also excluded from the game even after they took part in the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble. That's a step backward in the Women's Revolution.

Hit: Menu style looks great

WWE 2K19's has left some impression

While playing any game, the first thing we see is the menu screen of the game. The menu screen of WWE games hasn't been great. However, WWE 2K19 doesn't come in that category. WWE 2K19 might leave an impression in the mind of the gamers for a very long time.

The menu screen of the game looks fantastic. The different menu screen shows different wrestlers fading from behind. This menu is far better than the menu screen we saw in WWE 2K18.

2K has left an impression of the game's menu screen. I am impressed with the menu of WWE 2K19.

Miss: A champion is missing

The fans of Tommaso Ciampa have a bad news

WWE 2K19 has the biggest roster in the franchise history. Sadly, they have missed out on something.

While there are a lot of NXT stars in the game, both on-disc and as a part of DLC, 2K has forgotten to include the current NXT Champion, Tommaso Ciampa. Tomasso Ciampa is currently the most vicious and the best heel in WWE. The fans love to hate him due to his this attitude.

Tommaso Ciampa deserved a spot in WWE 2K19. He was a part of the best rivalry with Johnny Gargano this year. The fans who wanted to play as Ciampa might have to download it from Community Creations.
