Barbados Tridents are back in action as they host the Guyana Amazon Warriors in one of the most awaited games of CPL 2019 on Monday. While the Warriors are the only unbeaten team in the competition, the Tridents picked up a brilliant win against the St Lucia Zouks on Saturday and will put up a stiff challenge for the visitors.

The Warriors enter this game as the firm favourites, with the likes of Shimron Hetmyer and Nicolas Pooran headlining their roster. They have been boosted by the arrival of Imran Tahir, who will be key against the likes of Johnson Charles and JP Duminy. With both teams looking for the win, here are a few tips to help you pick your Dream11 team.

Playing XI Updates

Barbados Tridents

No changes are expected from the Tridents after a thumping over the Zouks in their previous game. Justin Greaves more than made up for Alex Hales' absence as he smashed a fifty against the likes of Obed McCoy and Hardus Viljoen. Along with Charles and Boucher, he is crucial to their fortunes with Jonathan Carter also getting some runs under his belt. The experience of JP Duminy and Jason Holder should also serve them well while Sandeep Lamichhane holds the key in the bowling department.

Possible XI: Greaves, Charles, Boucher(WK), Duminy, Nurse, Carter, Holder(C), Lamichhane, Lalor, Bishop and Reifer.

Guyana Amazon Warriors

Similar to their opponents, the Warriors aren't expected to tinker with their playing XI with the likes of Brandon King and Imran Tahir reveling in recent games. The trio of Nicolas Pooran, Shoaib Malik and Shimron Hetmyer are very dependable and have rarely failed. Chris Green and Keemo Paul provide the balance with their late order hitting as they seek to sustain their winning form.

Possible XI: King, Hemraj, Hetmyer, Malik(C), Pooran(WK), Green, Rutherford, Paul, Tahir, Smith/Romario and Qais.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions

Wicket-keeper: Leniko Boucher didn't get a chance to bat on Saturday although the youngster has done well over the course of CPL 2019. He is a possible option alongside Nicolas Pooran, who is one of the most talented individuals in the competition right now.

Batsmen: Jonathan Carter won the man of the match award against St Lucia Zouks and looks good for more on Monday as well. Along with Chandrapaul Hemraj and Shimron Hetmyer, Carter is one of the must-have players in this match. Johnson Charles is another explosive player at the top of the Barbados batting unit and is one to watch out for.

Allrounders: Veteran JP Duminy is one of the must-have players for this game with the South African in decent form. In the absence of Alex Hales, he holds the key for the Tridents while Jason Holder's incisive swing bowling should also yield a couple of wickets. One of Shoaib Malik or Keemo Paul should also suffice in the all-rounders department.

Bowlers: Leg-spinners Imran Tahir and Sandeep Lamichhane have picked a couple of wickets in CPL 2019 and are surely going to feature in majority of the fantasy teams. Along with them, Chris Green is another handy off-spinner who has consistently scored runs and picked wickets in his CPL career for the Guyana Amazon Warriors. If a fast bowler is to be picked, Josh Lalor should do the trick.

Captain: Shimron Hetmyer has blown hot and cold in CPL 2019 with 148 runs in five games. He is due for a big score at the top of the Barbados batting unit which makes him one of the first choices for captaincy. Along with the West Indian, Keemo Paul and JP Duminy are decent options as well.

Fantasy Suggestion #1: Nicolas Pooran, Jonathan Carter, Johnson Charles, Shimron Hetmyer, Chanderpaul Hemraj, Keemo Paul, Jason Holder, JP Duminy, Chris Green, Imran Tahir and Sandeep Lamichhane. Captain: Shimron Hetmyer, Vice-Captain: JP Duminy

Fantasy Suggestion #2: Leniko Boucher, Jonathan Carter, Johnson Charles, Shimron Hetmyer, Chanderpaul Hemraj, Keemo Paul, Shoaib Malik, JP Duminy, Qais Ahmed, Imran Tahir and Josh Lalor. Captain: Shimron Hetmyer, Vice-Captain: Keemo Paul
