Barbados Tridents play back to back games in the CPL as they host Jamaica Tallawahs at the Kensington Oval in the early hours of Tuesday. Placed at the bottom of the table currently, Jamaica Tallawahs has underwhelmed in spite of having the likes of Glenn Phillips, Chris Gayle and Andre Russell don its jersey.

Although they have won only one game in seven so far, they still have slim hopes of sneaking into the playoffs, which would need them to win all their remaining games for a start. However, they come across a formidable Barbados Tridents side, boasting of T20 superstars in Sandeep Lamichhane and JP Duminy as they themselves eye a win to sustain their challenge for a playoff place. At one of the more iconic grounds in the West Indian islands, both teams should give in their best with two valuable points on offer. Here are a few tips to help you pick your Dream11 team.

Squads to choose from:

Barbados Tridents:

Jason Holder (C), Sandeep Lamichhane, Asif Ali, Wahab Riaz, Johnson Charles, Shai Hope, Ashley Nurse, Josh Bishop, Imad Wasim, Jonathan Carter, Chemar Holder, Leniko Boucher, Roshon Primus, Raymon Reifer, Justin Greaves and Hayden Walsh

Jamaica Tallawahs:

Andre Russell, Chris Gayle, Chadwick Walton, Rovman Powell (C), Zahir Khan, Oshane Thomas, Glenn Phillips, George Worker, Amad Butt, Chris Lamont, Steven Jacobs, Imran Khan, Xavier Marshall, Shamar Springer, Ramaal Lewis, Derval Green and Javelle Glenn

Playing XI Updates:

Barbados Tridents:

Barbados should persist with the same set of players for this game as well as they look to seal another win in their favour. Leniko Boucher has been brilliant in the absence of Shai Hope while Johnson Charles and JP Duminy have scored runs consistently for the Tridents. Allrounders, Jason Holder and Ashley Nurse have played their part to perfection while Sandeep Lamichhane holds the key with the ball in hand on Tuesday.

Possible XI: Greaves, Charles, Boucher(WK), Duminy, Nurse, Carter, Holder(C), Lamichhane, Lalor, Bishop and Reifer

Jamaica Tallawahs:

Like their opponents on Tuesday, Jamaica should also field the same set of players with Chris Gayle and Andre Russell in their ranks. In Glenn Phillips, they have one of the most consistent players in CPL 2019. Chadwick Walton and Worker are also vital to their fortunes with Zahir Khan and Oshane Thomas lead the bowling unit for them. Much is expected from Jade Dernbach, whose death bowling skills should come into play against the likes of Holder and Duminy.

Possible XI: Gayle, Phillips (WK), Walton(C), Russell, Worker, Smith, Glen, Ramaal, Zahir, Oshane and Dernbach

Pitch Report:

Kensington Oval should play true to its nature with lots of runs on offer on Tuesday. Spinners will play a crucial role as the match progress with 170 being the par score here, given that it is an evening game.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:

Wicket-keeper: Both Leniko Boucher and Glenn Phillips have excelled in this year's competition and look to continue their good form on Tuesday as well. While Phillips should get the nod if only one of them were to picked, Boucher is also a decent option to have as an extra keeper.

Batsmen: Johnson Charles is a must-have given the lack of batting resources in the Barbados side. Along with Chris Gayle and possibly Chadwick Walton, he is a great option to have in the side. Although he hasn't scored a fifty in CPL 2019, Jonathan Carter is another resourceful player who could earn some fantasy points with the bat in hand.

Allrounders: Andre Russell is a must-have in the fantasy team given the importance he carries around in both the batting and bowling units of Jamaica Tallawahs. Along with the KKR allrounder, Jason Holder and JP Duminy are also dependable options in the fantasy team. While the balance of the side could prove to be a problem, one of them could be replaced with George Worker.

Bowlers: While two of Zahir Khan, Jade Dernbach or Oshane Thomas would suffice in the bowling department, Sandeep Lamichhane is one of the most sought after leg-spinners in the world. Along with them, one of Josh Lalor or Raymon Reifer should do the trick.

Captain: Chris Gayle is the obvious choice for captaincy with the south-paw due for a big one in the CPL. After his sensational hundred against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, he hasn't done justice to his talents and should come good against Barbados Tridents. Along with him, the likes of JP Duminy and Andre Russell are also decent options for the mantle of captaincy.

Fantasy Suggestion #1: Glenn Phillips, Chris Gayle, Chadwick Walton, Johnson Charles, Andre Russell, JP Duminy, Ashley Nurse, Oshane Thomas, Sandeep Lamichhane, Zahir Khan and Josh Lalor. Captain: Chris Gayle, Vice-Captain: Andre Russell

Fantasy Suggestion #2: Leniko Boucher, Chris Gayle, Chadwick Walton, Johnson Charles, Andre Russell, JP Duminy, Jason Holder, Oshane Thomas, Sandeep Lamichhane, Zahir Khan and Raymon Reifer. Captain: JP Duminy, Vice-Captain: Andre Russell
