IPL Fantasy 2019: Match 24, MI vs KXIP; Who would be the X-Factor in today's game?

The Mumbai Indians will host the Kings XI Punjab in match 24 of the VIVO IPL 2019 on April 10 at the Wankhede Stadium, in Mumbai. Both sides come off convincing wins over Sunrisers Hyderabad and will look to advance further up on the points table.

The Mumbai Indians have got a formidable bowling attack as newcomer Alzarri Joseph has shown himself to be an immense threat to batsmen. And with the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Jason Behrendorff to bowl to the KXIP batsmen, it's not going to be an easy task for them. The Wankhede Stadium is a very good batting track and once you get set in, it's easy to score runs, and Rohit Sharma will want to do that and get his form back.

KXIP have had a lot to cheer for as they have got four wins from six games this season. Star batsman KL Rahul seems to have got his form back and will be looking to extend his run-scoring streak. Punjab seem to have got their tactics right and look a very balanced unit. They have been managed very well by Ravichandran Ashwin, who has been a shrewd skipper this season.

A lot of runs are expected in this encounter while the bowlers will come into the game later into the match. With this being the case, this a match which IPL Fantasy managers will prey on and let's take a look at who the Fantasy X-Factor will be for this match.

The Mumbai Indians haven't had too many great contributions from their middle order and they haven't stuck together as a unit. This means that their openers take the brunt of the scoring responsibility and Proteas keeper-batsman Quinton De Kock, the MI opener will be the Fantasy X-Factor for this match.

De Kock hasn't had quite an explosive start to the season and has been rather docile. His partner, Rohit Sharma too hasn't had the best of times and both of them will look to score against Punjab. De Kock however will be the player to watch out for because he's a versatile batsman who can take the attack to the pacers early on with his confident stroke-play.

If he can deal with the threat which Mujeeb Ur Rahman poses with the new ball, De Kock can get the big score which we all have been waiting for. He will also be in the thick of the action as the nipping ball can create a lot of outside edges which he can take behind the stumps.

Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya and Chris Gayle will be good fantasy picks as well.
