After a scintillating start to CPL 2019, Trinbago Knight Riders look to sustain their momentum as they face the Andre Russell-led, Jamaica Tallawahs at Queen's Park Oval on Saturday. Although they did look a touch light on batting talent, Trinbago made it up with a brilliant bowling display led by Jimmy Neesham and Mohammad Hasnain. Both of them picked three wickets to give the defending champions a winning start to their CPL 2019 campaign. They now face a different beast in Jamaica Tallawahs, who boast of two of the most sought after T20 players in Chris Gayle and Andre Russell.

With a balanced squad at their disposal, Jamaica Tallawahs will be considered favourites for this game against the Trinbago Knight Riders on Saturday. Here are a few tips to help you pick your Dream11 team.

TKR vs JT Squads

Trinbago Knight Riders

Dwayne Bravo(C), Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Colin Munro, Darren Bravo, Denesh Ramdin, Mohd Hasnain, Khary Pierre, James Neesham, Seekuge Prasanna, Amir Jangoo, Anderson Phillip, Mark Deyal, Tion Webster, Javon Searles, Akeal Hossain and Ali Khan

Jamaica Tallawahs

TKR vs JT Playing XI Updates

Trinbago Knight Riders

No changes are expected from TKR after a fairly good performance on the opening day. Their middle orders look very solid with Ramdin, Neesham and Pollard scoring runs against SNP although their experiment of promoting Tion Webster didn't go according to plan. They have a number of bowling options in their side which can accommodate an extra batsman at the expense of Tion Webster.

Possible XI: Simmons, Narine, Deyal/Webster, Ramdin(WK), Neesham, Pollard(C), Prasanna, Phillip, Pierre, Hasnain and Searles.

Jamaica Tallawahs

Chris Gayle returns to the Jamaica opening spot and should partner Glenn Phillips, who has been a consistent performer for them. Chadwick Walton and Rovman Powell will follow them with Andre Russell being the accelerator towards the end of the innings. In Oshane Thomas, they have an express paceman who has IPL experience. Along with Imran Khan and Jerome Taylor, he should be key to this bowling unit. Watch out for George Worker, who is a resourceful all-rounder and usually bats in the middle order for his domestic side in NZ.

Possible XI: Gayle, Walton(WK), Phillips, Powell, Kennar Lewis, Russell(C), Worker, Jerome Taylor, Thomas, Ramaal Lewis and Imran.

TKR vs JT Pitch Report

The pitch is slightly on the slower side with strokeplay bring difficult early on. Once the batsman gets himself in, it would become easier. Pacers also enjoyed some pace and bounce on the opening day with Hasnain and Cottrell picking three wickets apiece.

TKR vs JT Fantasy Tips and Suggestions

Wicket-keeper: Denesh Ramdin was in good touch on the opening day against the likes Sheldon Cottrell and Alzarri Joseph. He should be picked in this game as well along with one of Glenn Phillips or Chadwick Walton should suffice. With both Jamaica Tallawahs players batting in the top order, they should do well if chosen.

Batsmen: Kieron Pollard did lead from the front with a stunning knock towards the end of the innings. He should be picked in this game as well along with Chris Gayle. The highest run-scorer in CPL history, Gayle returns to his home franchise and should look to announce his return with a big knock. One of Tion Webster or Kennar Lewis should do trick in balancing the team in terms of credits.

All-rounders: A number of quality all-rounders are on offer but one should not look beyond Andre Russell. He bowls fast and can hit them out of the park as well. His is the template of a perfect T20 player and is a must-have in the fantasy team. Along with him, the likes of Sunil Narine, Rovman Powell and Kiwi, Jimmy Neesham are also viable candidates to have in the side.

Bowlers: Mohd Hasnain picked three wickets in his CPL debut and will be hungry for more wickets come Saturday. While he fills in one spot, the other goes to big Oshane Thomas, who made his mark in CPL 2018. Presumably the leader of the pack, Thomas should pick a wicket or two along with the likes of Javon Searles and Anderson Phillip.

Captain: Andre Russell and Chris Gayle are two of the best in the business and should be the first choices for captaincy. If one were to pick a TKR player, look no further than their captain, Kieron Pollard, who looks in decent form with the bat.

Fantasy Suggestion #1: Glenn Phillips, Denesh Ramdin, Chris Gayle, Tion Webster, Kieron Pollard, Jimmy Neesham, Rovman Powell, Andre Russell, Mohd Hasnain, Oshane Thomas and Javon Searles. Captain: Chris Gayle, Vice-Captain: Andre Russell

Fantasy Suggestion #2: Chadwick Walton, Denesh Ramdin, Kieron Pollard, Chris Gayle, Kennar Lewis, Andre Russell, George Worker, Jimmy Neesham, Mohd Hasnain, Oshane Thomas and Javon Searles. Captain: Andr Russell, Vice-Captain: Kieron Pollard
