Liverpool and Egyptian ace Mohamed Salah rose to super-stardom when he joined Merseyside club Liverpool in a £34m transfer at the beginning of last season.

Since then, Salah has won the Premier League Golden Boot for his goal-scoring exploits in his debut season where he scored 32 goals in just 36 appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side.

The Egyptian was also named the PFA Player of the Year for the 2017-18 season and was also nominated for the FIFA Men's Player of the Year and the Ballon d'Or award this year.

This season, Salah encountered a mini goal drought which resulted in critics calling him a one-season wonder. However, the talisman quickly proved himself to be more than that, banging in goals for the Reds in no time.

The Egyptian boasts of 35 goals in 45 games so far in 2018, making him the current eighth-highest top-scorer this year.
