Since the departure of Luis Nani from Manchester United, it's been no secret that the club is crying out for a right winger. Post Sir Alex Ferguson's departure from the club, United have tried many different players on the right wing, but it is safe to say that the position still remains a major issue.

Under manager Louis Van Gaal, the club signed Angel Di Maria, who could play on the right wing, from Real Madrid but the player could not settle in at the club and left just after one season.

Since then, the club has tried Spanish midfielder Juan Mata, England internationals Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford on the right wing, but that has clearly not worked out, as Rashford is excelling at the centre-forward position.

The club ranks 20th amongst the Premier League clubs when it comes to attacking from the right-hand side of the field, which makes the overall play of the team very one dimensional.

With the season coming to a close in another four months, Manchester United's first priority should be to sign a player who can play on the right wing. There are various options the club could try and sign in the transfer window.

#3 Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund)

Jadon Sancho left Manchester city for Borussia Dortmund in search of first-team opportunities.

Having made his way through the first team at Dortmund, Sancho is the real breakthrough star of this season. The young winger has grabbed the eyeballs of big European clubs playing on the right side of the attack, along with the likes of Marco Reus and Paco Alcacer.

Sancho has scored six goals and assisted eight in 17 appearances for the German side in Bundesliga. The Englishman, who was primarily a left winger has made the right side his own ahead of Christian Pulisic. The 18-year old's impressive run earned him a well deserved England National team call-up as well.

Sancho is a player who is fast at dribbling and loves to cut inside from wide area. He has shown his linkup and one-touch passing qualities at Dortmund. He would complement the young and fast attacking players of Manchester United very well.

With age on his side, Sancho has the qualities to be one of the best in the world in the coming years. His Manchester connection could help United land him in the coming summer and the youngster can make the right wing his own for years to come.

Nicolas Pépé (Lille)

Nicolas Pépé has been one of the biggest stars in the French League this season. Playing for Lille, the Ivory Coast international has scored 13 goals and given nine assists in 21 appearances.

The main strength of Pépé is his sudden burst of pace and his eye for goal. He likes quick link up play and has the impressive ability to play through balls resulting in goal scoring opportunities.

The Ivorian can also cross the ball from the wide position which would help Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba, who like to get into the box. Pépé has also scored three goals in 10 appearances for his national side Ivory Coast. The winger has a similar style to play to that of Liverpool winger, Sadio Mane.

Pépé has been one of the main reasons why Lille surprisingly are sitting in second place, just below PSG. At Manchester United, Pépé would be ideal to link up with Anthony Martial and Rashford, who like to play short one-touch passes.

Pépé would improve the attack of any side in the world with the potential he has shown and the form he is in. United should target the Ivorian player to bolster their right wing.

Cengiz Ünder (A.S Roma)

Cengiz Ünder has recently broken into the limelight with his performances playing on the right wing for Italian side A.S Roma. The Turkish international has impressed in the UEFA Champions League this season, scoring three goals and assisting twice in six appearances.

The young winger has also scored three goals and given six assists in 18 appearances in the Italian league this season. Ünder likes to create chances for the attackers around him rather than scoring on his own, which would help Rashford, Lukaku, and Martial.

The Turkish International can develop and thrive under a manager who would show trust in young players. His ability on set-pieces is also one of the add-ons that the club would get. Negotiating with Roma would not be a difficult task as the Italian club would love to cash on the youngster, which would make Ünder easily available in the transfer window.
