3 players Unai Emery must start against Watford

Arsenal head into the match beaming with confidence after a convincing victory over Italian giants, Napoli. The only worry on Unai Emery's mind would be the team's disastrous away form which saw them lose to Everton at Goodison Park.

With Tottenham's victory over Huddersfield and Manchester United winning at home too, the fight to finish top-four is getting more and more competitive. Every match is now a must-win if the Gunners want to advance into the UEFA Champions League next season.

Following the victory in midweek, Arsenal must bring that winning attitude into this upcoming away match at Vicarage Road. Here are three players who deserve to start on Monday night.

The Frenchman missed the game against Everton where Arsenal fell to a 1-0 defeat. Thereafter, he started against Napoli and helped his side keep a crucial clean sheet. Since recovering from his Achilles injury suffered towards the end of the previous season, the captain has played a crucial role in the heart of Arsenal's defence.

Koscielny used his experience to ensure that the backline was constantly holding their right positions and keeping Napoli's forwards offside. His positioning and situational awareness also meant that he was often at the right place at the right time to make vital blocks and interceptions.

Last season, Watford bullied Arsenal when the Gunners travelled to their stadium. This time around, Arsenal must ensure that history does not repeat itself. Should Arsenal lose this game, it will be hard for them to finish in the top-four.

#2 Lucas Torreira

At last, the 22-year-old made his return to the starting eleven after missing out on a couple of games following his red-card suspension. Torreira was substituted during the second-half after picking up a knock which did not seem too serious.

His presence in the midfield had a great impact in Arsenal's victory over Napoli, and the game summed up his debut season for the Gunners.

Despite his petite size, the Uruguayan was influential throughout his time on the pitch. He made numerous interceptions which heavily disrupted his opponent's game plan. Without a doubt, if he is fit, he ought to start the match against the Hornets.

Watford has a couple of strong and tough midfielders who will at all cost attempt to find Troy Deeney on the counter. If Torreira is playing, he will certainly have a huge role to play in stopping Watford's counter-attacks.

#1 Aaron Ramsey

It is only towards the last few months of his career as an Arsenal player before the fans have started to witness his true potential. Apart from the numerous injuries which have impacted his career over the last few years, Ramsey is finally playing at his best. It is indeed upsetting that Arsenal will be missing a midfielder like him from next season onwards.

In the last few games that the Welshman has started, he has had such a positive impact on the result of the matches. Again on Thursday night, he justified why he deserved a move to a top club such as Juventus.

His movement as a box to box midfielder has made him an extremely versatile player on the field. Coupled with his experience and his commitment to do his best, Ramsey truly deserves to start every match until the end of the season.

His creativity and ability to link up the play between the defence and attack is making him one of the best central midfielders in the world. If Emery does not play him in the upcoming match, it will be Arsenal's loss.
