Much like Newcastle, Southampton are a side who came into the transfer window looking to solve the problems they had with scoring goals last season. One of their bigger moves of the summer was bringing in highly rated Norwegian winger Mohamed Elyounoussi from Basel for a fee of £16 million.

So far this season, Elyounoussi has failed to impress for the Saints and hasn’t had the sort of impact they would have hoped for. Their struggles for goals have continued this season, and the 24-year-old is yet to provide one in the league. He may still be adapting to the Premier League, but in a side that look short of quality in attacking areas, he really needs to get up to speed soon.
