Real Madrid have turned up in the transfer market this summer after suffering a disappointing season, finishing 17 points behind the La Liga winners FC Barcelona in third place. Los Blancos were affected by the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo who assured at least 50 goals per season.

In the previous campaign, Real Madrid played under three different managers with Zinedine Zidane being the last arrival. The Frenchman left the club after winning three Champions League trophies on the trot.

Zidane signalled at a significant squad overhaul during the season end and taking no prisoners; Real have signed six players thus far, namely - Rodrygo, Eder Militao, Luka Jovic, Eden Hazard, Ferland Mendy, and Takefusa Kubo.

There are no signs of slowing down as Madrid are reportedly chasing Paul Pogba, Christian Eriksen, and Kylian Mbappe. Opting such a ruthless policy has put the futures of several superstars in jeopardy.

Keeping player's uncertain futures in mind, let's take a look at some players who could be destined to leave Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

#5 Keylor Navas

With Thibaut Courtois likely to become the undisputed #1 goalkeeper at Real Madrid, it is likely that Navas will see his gametime reduced further. Such a situation could compel the Costa Rican to consider a move away from the Spanish capital. Keylor is highly understated for his contributions in the Madrid shirt.

Navas played an important part in Madrid's Champions League dominance despite constant attempts to replace him. The 32-year-old has attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United and he is considering best offers at the table.

#4 Isco

Isco's stay in Madrid might conclude this summer.

Isco was signed by Carlo Ancelotti in 2013 and his creativity alongside Angel di Maria was pivotal in Real's capture of La Decima. However, Isco never won over Zinedine Zidane, being reduced to a substitute role under the French tactician.

The arrival of Julen Lopetegui rejuvenated his Madrid career, but fell out of favour again under Santiago Solari.

The playmaker lost his place in the side completely during Zizou's second stint and became a permanent appearance on the bench during the season end. With club trying to sign either Pogba or Eriksen, reports suggest that Isco might be sold to vacate the playmaker spot in the Galactico squad.

#3 Marco Asensio

Marco Asensio was tipped as the next big thing in Spanish football and Cristiano Ronaldo's natural heir at Real Madrid. The attacker has failed to deliver in accordance with the expectations, leading the club to put more faith on Vinicius Junior. The arrival of Eden Hazard has complicated the matter even more.

With a series of big money signings, the club is forced to sell in order to comply with the Financial Fair Play regulations. The 23-year-old will find himself below Hazard, Luka Jovic, and Vinicius in the pecking order.

Asensio is still one of Europe's hottest prospects and he might find himself a new club this summer should an acceptable offer arrive.

#2 James Rodriguez

James Rodriguez was signed by Real after his outstanding performance for Columbia in the World Cup 2014. The playmaker was unable to nail down a starting spot due to abundance of attacking players in the form of Cristiano Ronaldo, Isco, Karim Benzema, and Gareth Bale.

Despite his influence on the pitch, Zinedine Zidane used James as a substitute predominately and he requested a loan move in search of more minutes. The Columbian earned a temporary move to Bayern Munich in the following summer of 2017.

This summer, Rodriguez rejected the German club's offer to sign him permanently and returned to Madrid. Clearly, the 27-year-old isn't in Zidane's plan and will play for a new team next season.

#1 Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale has found himself isolated during his stay in Madrid.

Gareth Bale was a signed in 2013 on the back of a prolific season for Tottenham Hotspur. He was considered a 'Galactico' due to his world-class abilities. The Welshman enjoyed a terrific start to his Madrid career, scoring crucial goals in Copa Del Rey and Champions League finals.

Bale was expected to provide competition to Cristiano for the left-wing spot but injuries started caused his downfall to begin at the Spanish capital. The attacker's incessant fitness issues prohibited him from sealing a spot in the starting lineup, despite performing well when available.

The 29-year-old has scored over 100 goals for the club, yet he is deemed as a failiure, getting boeed relentlessly from the Real supporters. Zinedine Zidane has clearly mentioned that Bale is not in his plans for the next season and beyond, making Gareth's transfer alomost certain.
