The Indian Under-19 national football team open their AFC Under-19 Championship qualification campaign with a match against hosts Qatar in Doha on October as per the schedule released by the Asian Football Confederation.
The India Under-19 boys have been drawn in Group A along with Qatar, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Nepal.
India play their second match on October 6 against Nepal followed by a match against Uzbekistan on October 10, while the India Under-19 colts play their last match against Turkmenistan on October 12.
The Group winners of the nine groups; five from West Zone and four from East will book a ticket to the October 2014 final round of the AFC Under-19 Championship alongside with six best-placed sides and hosts Myanmar.
All the Group A qualification matches would be played at the Qatar Sports Club Stadium in Doha.
