Guwahati Sports Association has awarded the GSA Super Division to NF Railway SC.
GSA awarded full 3 points to NF Railway in their last match of the campaign as their opponent Navajyoti Club refused to play to protest against the referee.
In the last match of the league on Friday, Navajyoti players staged a walkout protesting a decision of the referee in the dying minute of the match. At the time of that drama, Navajyoti were leading 1-0.
According to GSA, going by FIFA rules, NF Railway were awarded full points as Navajyoti refused to play.
Railmen finished at the top with 22 points. Green Valley finished second and Navajyoti remained in third place.
