Four players looking to leave Real Madrid following Zidane's resignation

The decision of Zinedine Zidane to call it a day has reportedly not gone well with the Real Madrid squad. According to Don Balon, following Zidane's resignation, four players have started rethinking their future in Madrid and may make a move elsewhere this summer.

The four players listed by the Spanish tabloid are - Keylor Navas, Karim Benzema, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo. Both Navas and Benzema were Zinedine Zidane favourites who were kept in the club's roster simply because of the manager's insistence.

Varane has multiple offers on his table and is now ready to move following Zidane's exit. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo has already stated his will to leave and may make a return to Manchester United. Zidane and Ronaldo shared a close relationship.

Real Madrid preparing an irresistible offer for Mauricio Pochettino

Independent has reported that Real Madrid are ready to go all guns blazing in order to sign Mauricio Pochettino - their no.1 target to replace Zinedine Zidane. Pochettino has long been on Florentino Perez's mind and Real Madrid now want to prepare an offer that will lure the Argentine to the Bernabeu.

Pochettino has just signed a new five year deal with Tottenham and his current contract runs down till 2023. He reportedly does not have a release clause which has made Real Madrid's work all the more difficult.

Juventus eyeing Higuain-Morata swap deal

According to the Evening Standard, Juventus have offered Chelsea a chance to sign Gonzalo Higuain in their bid to bring back Alvaro Morata to Turin. Morata met Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici last week which has sparked rumours of the striker returning to Italy.

Morata has struggled to light up the Premier League and his indifferent form led him to be dropped from Spain's World Cup squad. Chelsea are expected to be on the lookout for a right offer for the 25-year-old.

West Ham target Felipe Anderson

The Hammers are interested in Lazio winger Felipe Anderson, reports Sky Sports. Manuel Pellegrini wants to do the majority of his business before the World Cup and hence wants a deal for the Brazilian to be sorted quickly.

The winger has been one of the best players for Lazio since his move to Rome in 2013. He scored 4 and created 7 more in Serie A last season.

Bayern Munich planning summer clear-out

New boss Niko Kovac has reportedly decided to trim his first-team squad this summer. Bild reveals that Kovac is looking to sell as many as four first team players before the start of the next campaign.

The likes of Arturo Vidal, Juan Bernat, Thiago Alcantara and Jerome Boateng are expected to be offloaded by the Bavarians in the coming months. Out of these four, Kovac wants to work with Thiago but the midfielder is keen on a new challenge.

Arsenal target Corentin Tolisso

Unai Emery has decided to strengthen his midfield unit. According to Calcio Insider, Arsenal are preparing a £60 million offer for Bayern Munich's Corentin Tolisso.

The French midfielder is Bayern's record signing and made 40 appears last season, scoring 10 goals and providing 7 assists. Bayern Munich rate Tolisso highly and are not looking to sell the midfielder at any cost.

The Sun understands that Chelsea are preparing an informal offer to lure Zinedine Zidane to the Premier League. Zidane shocked the footballing world by announcing his resignation as Real Madrid manager yesterday.

Chelsea are looking to stay ahead of the line to take Zidane on board and are hence preparing to initiate a contact with the French legend.

Newcastle United target Gian Marco Ferrari

Rafa Benitez is looking to sign Sassuolo defender Gian Marco Ferrari as a Chancel Mbemba replacement. Ferrari spent last season on loan at Sampdoria and made 30 appearances. Newcastle Chronical has reported that the likes of Fulham, Sevilla and AS Monaco are also interested in the highly rated 6"2' central defender.

Manchester United eyeing Aleksandr Golovin

Along with Marko Arnautovic, the Sun has reported that Jose Mourinho was in attendance at the Russia vs Austria game to scout Aleksandr Golovin. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United.

He is valued at £15 million by CSKA Moscow and is now being dubbed as Juan Mata's direct replacement. Golovin is considered as the poster boy for Russia as they are all set to host the World Cup.

Marco Silva wants William Carvalho as his first Everton signing

The Mirror reports that the new Everton boss, Marco Silva is eyeing his compatriot William Carvalho as his first signing at Goodison Park. The duo worked together in 2016 at Sporting Lisbon and Silva now wants the midfield enforcer to improve Everton's ailing midfield.
