The Postman is missing his deliveries for FPL bosses!

Hello and thanks for coming back to read my picks to help you achieve FPL Legend status (or at least just improve your squad!).

As GW29 of Fantasy Premier League is approaching, check out three players you need to drop for the coming weeks as we move towards a crucial period with a blank GW31 and double GW32.

#1 Christian Eriksen – Midfield – (£9.4m)

Goals: 5

Assists: 9

Season Points: 111

Upcoming fixtures: ARS (H), SOU (A), BLANK

He is known as ‘The Postman’ because he always delivers but that has not been the case of late. One goal and one assist in his last five games isn’t a great return for the eight most expensive midfielder in FPL.

Back to back losses against Chelsea and Burnley have put Spurs a little out of form, but that is not a major concern.

Eriksen is averaging still 2.96 Sh90 but his xGI90 (expected goals or assists per 90) has dropped to 0.26. They also have a tough North London derby up next and a blank in GW31. I’d move off the Spurs man for now.

#2 Roberto Firmino – Forward – (£9.2m)

Goals: 9

Assists: 6

Season Points: 122

Upcoming fixtures: EVE (A), BUR (H), FUL (A).

Firstly, the Brazilian forward has only provided one attacking return in the last five games. Also, he's suffering from an injury at the moment. He picked up an ankle injury in the first half against Manchester United in their 0-0 draw in GW27 and isn’t expected back for the moment.

Averaging just 2 shots per game over the last 5, compared to 2.78 Sh90 for the season exhibit Firmino's attacking output is down over the past few games. It will be best to avoid him for now.

Brace? Red card? Who knows what Digne will give you!

#3 Lucas Digne – Defender – (£5.3m)

Clean Sheets: 6

Goals: 3

Assists: 3

Season Points: 92

Upcoming fixtures: LIV (H), NEW (A), CHE (H)

It’s been a rollercoaster owning Digne this year. Are you going to get a double-digit haul? Are you going to get a red card 11 minutes after coming onto the pitch? You just never know.

Digne had a great reputation midway through the season of being a bonus points magnet for his attacking output and defensive ability. However, he’s gone 6 games without a bonus point and has scored one or less in four of games.

His shooting has fallen well off (1.36 Sh90 at its highest) down to 0.59. Not to forget, he has a tough run of matches coming up.
