Delhi Dynamos will be looking to move one stop closer to making it to the semi-finals of the Indian Super League 2016 when they face FC Goa on Sunday. The Lions got a 2-0 win over the Gaurs, when the two sides met earlier in Goa and Delhi will be hoping to do the same in their home.

Delhi Dynamos manager Gianluca Zambrotta faced the media ahead of his team's clash with Brazilian legend Zico's side. Here are the key points from the press conference.

Delhi has been one of the strongest teams in the tournament so far, while Goa are on the bottom of the table. Not many people will expect Zico's side to win the game, considering their poor performance in this season. However, Zambrotta doesn't think the game will be an easy one for his team. He even considers Sunday's match to be one of the most difficult ones of the season.

“This is one of the most difficult matches for Delhi Dynamos and it will be a mistake to think it will be easy for us because Goa are presently bottom of the table. We don’t want to take it easy against them. I have told the players that they have got to remain focussed and it will be a difficult match and that it will be a game of high intensity", Zambrotta said.

Delhi has two more fixtures after Sunday against NorthEast United and Mumbai City FC, however the Italian legend told the press that his focus is on the game against Goa and he doesn't want to think about the next match. The 39-year old also said that he wants to take one step at a time.

“Usually we take one match at a time and of course we playing at home, so for us it is important to win the next match against Goa as it improves our chances to qualify for the semis tremendously. We will prepare now for the match to win, so at the moment we will only focus on this match. We will talk about out next match later", the former AC Milan player told the press.

The Lions arguably has been the best attacking side in the league this season. The team has found the back of the net 21 times and has a very good goal difference rate of 7. Zambrotta gave the credit to the fighting spirit of his players for the intensity in their game.

"Fighting spirit is very important for a team, and for the players it’s important to give 100%, and to have this attitude is great", the World Cup winner remarked.
