January Transfer Window - Liverpool incoming and outgoing

Ad

That time of the year is nearly upon us yet again, the January transfer window, and in this article we are going to have a look at some possible ins and outs at Liverpool FC

Outgoings

Adam Morgan – Blackburn Rovers

Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer has scouted Morgan on a number of occasions and with Jordan Rhodes now out injured he finds himself in need of a striker, the deal is believed to be an initial loan deal but if rumours are true that Liverpool are willing to release Morgan it could be a chance for the player to earn a contract with Rovers

Raheem Sterling – Brighton & Hove Albion

Sterling has found game time hard to come by this season and a loan move is seen as the best option for the youngster as he tries to battle his way into Englands world cup plans.

Derby & Swasea have both been mentioned as likely destinations but I believe that it is Brighton who lead the chase for the talented winger.

Jordan Ibe – Derby County

Similar to Sterling, Ibe has found it hard to get some game time this season and with Andre Wisdom already flourishing at Derby County under the guidance of Steve Mclaren it looks like another red will be on the way to the rams on loan

Incomings

Andrey Yarmolenko – Dynamo Kiev (Scouted)

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has already stated he only wants players that can go straight into the 1st team and Yarmolenko certainly fits that bill.

Scouts from Liverpool have recently attended the Ukraine versus France world cup play off game where Yarmolenko impressed and it believed the club are preparing a bid for January

Will Hughes – Derby County (contact made)

Hughes has probably been the most heavily linked player to the reds over the last few months with some news outlets reporting a 12m deal is already in place for the talented youngster.

Hughes has already been shown around Melwood and it is believed that officials have even spoken to his family regards a move to Merseyside, if Hughes does sign you can expect him to be immediatly loaned out to another premier league club to gain some experience.

Javier Pastore – PSG (Contact made)

Pastore has found game time hard to come by in Paris and it is believed that the French giants are ready to cut their losses on the Argentian midfielder.

Liverpool face a challenge from Roma in landing the Argentine midfielder but they have already made a expression of interest to PSG and have asked to be kept updated on develeopments

Ever Banega – Valencia (interest held)

Pastore is not the only Argentine midfielder that Liverpool hold an interest in as they look to reignite a long standing interest in Ever Banega, and are willing to use Valencia interest in taking Tiago Ilori on loan to their advantage.

Valencia also hold an interest in Iago Aspas as he failts to settle in Merseyside, this one is well worth keeping an eye on over the January transfer window.
