Goals from Guadalajara forward Alexis Vega, America midfielder Sebastian Cordova, Guadalajara winger Uriel Antuna and Santos Laguna striker Eduardo Aguirre secured the win for Mexico U23. Tigres UANL striker Andre-Pierre Gignac scored the consolation goal for France U23.
