The Italian club Juventus has announced a record revenue of nearly €388 million. Juventus as a club have been one of the most successful clubs in the Italian Serie A and a look at the past ten years shows a constant upturn in revenue.
The Italian club recorded revenue of €341.5 million last term, however, the revenue from transfers has now helped the club achieve record revenue of €388 million. The Chairman Andrea Agnelli, speaking to an Italian newspaper, Gazzetta, spoke about the club’s progress over the years.

He highlighted the growth of the club and stated how the club has generated profits of around €40 Million for the second consecutive year.
Presenting the club’s annual financial report which will be shared with the club’s shareholders on October 25th, he reiterated that the club's primary business is the football on display.
He underlined the complexity of the economic and financial situation that has seen the club shift from their previous stadium to their new stadium Juventus Stadium. This move has indeed led to increased revenues for the club.

Also, speaking to Radio Rai, club CEO Guiseppe Morata, spoke of the club’s ambitions. He was heard quoting, “Juventus aims to play a leading role in every competition it takes part in. Our trophy cabinet proves that. It’s therefore to be expected that we’re considered among the favourites for the title again this term.”
He also spoke about the coach and the importance of Buffon as well, praising the manager, Massimiliano Allegri, for not just his coaching but the way he manages the group of players.

Morata reiterated the achievements of the club off the pitch, stating the increase in net profit from €53 Million to €341 Million between 30 June 2011 and 30 June 2016.
Emphasising the continuous participation in Champion’s League as a necessity and fundamental requirement from the club’s perspective, he was also keen on developing the image of the club among its international supporters.
Juventus currently lie top of the Serie A, having opened up a 4 point gap already over competitors Napoli. Over the weekend Juventus beat Empoli away from home 3-0 with goals coming from the Argentine duo of Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain in a lethal span of 5 minutes.
