The summer transfer window has commenced in stunning fashion for Real Madrid. They have secured the signing of prolific goalscorer Luka Jovic, beating other European heavyweights like Liverpool, Barcelona and Chelsea in the process

Reports have stated that Real Madrid broke the bank to the extent of £52.4. million to acquire the services of the versatile Serbian.

Jovic has taken Bundesliga by storm since making a loan move to Eintracht Frankfurt from Benfica, producing a phenomenal return of 27 goals and 5 assists. His blistering form attracted a host of European elites but it's the Madrid side which has succeeded in getting him on-board.

Real Madrid's swoop for Luka Jovic could be the start of a major overhaul as Los Blancos look to attack the 2019-20 season with the objective of regaining their elite status and bringing the trophies back to the Santiago Bernabeu.

It's a statement signing from the Spanish outfit, and here are three ways how they could line up with their new recruit in the upcoming campaign.

#1 Luka Jovic as a center forward (4-3-3)

Jovic is an immensely versatile footballer but he has mostly been deployed as a center forward this season by Eintracht Frankfurt.

Gareth Bale and Lucas Vazquez could line up on the left and right wings respectively while Jovic could occupy the place of center striker to form a sizzling attacking trio.

Bale's prime place has always been on left flank while Vazquez has come into the ranks as a right winger. This 4-3-3 setup with Jovic going up front with the Welshman and the Spaniard on both wings can deliver a rich goal-haul for Real Madrid and could be a perfect blend of speed, technique and proficiency.

2. Luka Jovic as a center-supportive striker (4-4-2 Diamond)

Jovic can pair up with Karim Benzema up front while Marco Asensio could be deployed a step behind these two to form an incredible 4-4-2 diamond.

This setup might give rise to a new playing style and could prove to be a sizzling attacking unit at the start of next season. It opens up space for Asensio and he can be the foil for the midfield while at the same time being the supply force for the two strikers.

3. Luka Jovic as a right wing forward ( 4-3-3)

Whenever Ante Rebic played as a center forward at Eintracht Forward, Jovic switched to a position at right wing.

At Real Madrid, if Zinedine Zidane decides to line up Benzema at the center forward position, then Jovic could move to right wing while young starlet Brahim Diaz could operate from the left wing.

This new attacking unit could be efficient as it would combine agility, experience and pace.

If Jovic moves to the right-hand side, the two midfielders Toni Kroos and Luka Modric would receive some space to operate from the center. Diaz could also help the midfield unit from the left-hand side, and this setup could easily be molded according to different situations.
