After a disastrous 2018/19 season, Real Madrid brought Zinedine Zidane back and have made some exciting signings in the summer so far. One signing that stood apart is the Belgium international Eden Hazard. The Los Blancos signed him for €100 million earlier this month.

The 28-year-old was exceptional for Chelsea over the past few seasons and one of the best players in the Premier League. Hazard scored 16 goals and assisted 15 more in 32 Premier League starts last season. He also played a crucial role in Chelsea’s Europa League title win.

Hazard’s desire to play for Real Madrid was not a secret and after Ronaldo’s departure, Real needed a player of his caliber. After his stunning exploits for the Blues last season, Hazard’s value has increased by €40 million to €150 million.

FC Porto had the best defensive record in the Liga NOS last season and conceded only 20 goals. He has made giants strides as a defender in the past 12 months and certainly up there among the best in Europe.

The Brazilian averaged 2.1 tackles and 2.2 interceptions per game in the league last season. He is quick across the turf and good with his tackles. He is comfortable with the ball at his feet and has a good range of passing. He is just 21 and will only get better with minutes on the pitch.

Jovic had a good debut campaign in Bundesliga with 8 goals and an assist in 22 appearances. The 2018/19 season proved to be a turning point for the 21-year-old. The Serbian scored 17 goals and assisted six more in Bundesliga last campaign. He also scored 10 goals in 14 Europa League games.

When the 2018/19 season started, Jovic was valued around €8 million. When the season ended, his stock witnessed a tremendous rise. He is currently valued at €60 million, which represents a €52 million increase. A pacy forward with an eye for goal all the time, Jovic is a defender's nightmare.

A creative player who often plays behind the No.9, Felix is known for his pace, ability to dribble past defenders, willingness to make attacking runs and exploit spaces. The youngster was brilliant for Benfica last season with 20 goals and 11 assists from 43 games in all competitions.

He was under the radar of top European clubs but Atletico jumped the line to sign him, following Antoine Griezmann’s departure to Barcelona. His market value has seen an astronomical rise over the past 12 months. He is currently valued at €70 million, which represents a 3400% increase from July 1, 2018.

The 22-year-old is a versatile midfielder with an excellent reading of the game and ability to provide the killer pass. He has a wide range of passing and possesses a wonderful vision. He averaged more than 2 tackles per game in all competitions last season and has a passing accuracy of more than 90%.

He has also scored three goals and created three more in Eredivisie. He could be a perfect foil to Sergio Busquets in the middle of the park for Barcelona. After his brilliant campaign for Ajax, de Jong’s market value increased by €78 million to €85 million.
