Manchester City's Sergio Aguero fit to face West Ham on Sunday
Manchester City have been given a boost in their pursuit of the Premier League title with striker Sergio Aguero being declared fit to face West Ham in the final game of the season. Aguero limped off during last week’s game against Everton. The 25 year old has missed 19 out of City’s last 32 games with injury problems but was confirmed to be fit by manager Manuel Pellegrini.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s title decider, Pellegrini said “The whole squad is fit, It is very important because for a manager if you have your whole squad and can choose between all your players it is the most important thing.”
Despite his injury struggles this season the striker has managed to score 28 goals. Manchester City only need a draw at West Ham to secure the title but Pellegrini is looking for another victory, “Every team must play every game to win. It doesn’t matter in which conditions they are playing, every team must want to win.”
