Mario Balotelli: It Doesn't Matter If Carlos Tevez Leaves Man City

Manchester City striker and serial egoist Mario Balotelli has said that it doesn’t matter if Carlos Tevez leaves Eastlands for the greener pastures of Corinthians, as his revered self in there to save all the people regardless. The man whose self-esteem is bigger than the Wembley stadium said that he had reached nowhere near his full potential last season, and was ready to sweep all away with his splendour next season.

I am a sexy beast

Tevez has admitted his desire to move back closer to home, where his children and family are based. It was with this in mind that Brazilian club Corinthians made an offer of 40 million pounds for the player. But the deal collapsed on Monday, because Man City wanted all the money up front while Corinthians could only pay it in instalments.

Balotelli put on his bib and said all that was immaterial, and that his bronzed figure would be the saviour of City next season.

Talking to lowly reporters, he said-

“It does not matter if Carlos is here or not.

“If Carlos is here it’s good, while if he goes away I’m sure someone else will arrive.

“But how I play is all down to me.

“It doesn’t matter who else is at Manchester City.

“Carlos is a great player, so I hope he’s going to stay. But I’ve seen great players leave clubs before.

“It happened at Inter. This is football.

“We have a good team here.

“If a player wants to leave it’s his decision but we’ll still be a good team.”

Talking about his first season in English football, he said-

“I thought my first season was so-so,”

“I know I can score a lot more. I will show City fans this season what I can do.”

It remains to be seen whether Balotelli can score as much as he talks, if Tevez does end up leaving the club. He sure thinks he can. Stay tuned for more in this regard.
