What's the story?
A very interesting story emerged in the Spanish media yesterday, as Spanish paper, AS, reported a huge fight between Liverpool striker Mo Salah and manager Jurgen Klopp, prompting the Egyptian to declare his intention of leaving the club 'as soon as possible'.
But it turns out the report was nothing more than a ridiculous rumour, as the player's agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, responded to the story on Twitter, brilliantly shutting down the rumour before things can get out of hand.
In case you didn't know...
Salah, who used to play for Chelsea in the Premier League, before his career-defining move to AS Roma, had an excellent debut season for The Reds last year, scoring a record-breaking 32 goals in the English top-flight.
He was recently named one of the world's 100 most influential people by Time in their annual list and was also one of the US magazine's six cover stars.
The heart of the matter...
Salah has scored 19 goals this season and provided seven assists in the Premier League, as Liverpool sit atop the league table, with a slender two-point lead over Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
The 26-year-old is one of the top wingers in the world at the moment and any club in the world would love to have him in their squad.
Real Madrid, who have been reeling under the pressure of replacing Cristiano Ronaldo this entire season, might be interested in signing the Anfield fan-favourite if the report from AS is at all true.
Though the report was heavily re-reported by the English papers too, Salah's agent is having none of it and has simply tweeted in a cheeky response to the Spanish media outlet:

Whether Salah leaves the club or not, one thing is sure, if Liverpool wants to win any silverware this season, he has to hit top gear in this last leg of the season.

Having beaten Porto in their Champions League quarter-final tie, the Reds still remain in contention for a double this season.
Klopp's men have drawn LaLiga giants, Barcelona, in their last four battle. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool's front three turn out to be the greater force than Messi and Co.
