Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan announced their squad for the opening two (away) rounds of the 2013/13 I-League season. The Mariners will have to play without star striker Odafe Okolie due to injury.
Mohun Bagan will take on new entrants Bengaluru FC at the Bangalore Football Stadium on September 21, in their season opener. They will then travel to Goa to face champions Churchill Brothers on Saturday on September 28 at the Duler ground in Mapusa.
There has been a lot of pressure on coach Karim Bencharifa, with recent results in the Calcutta Premier Division not going their way. And a good start to the new season would do well to ease those troubles.
