Following the poor performance in the last one month, Mohun Bagan has taken a decision in the hope of a better performance in the upcoming matches. Mohun Bagan’s fourth foreigner Eric Muranda, who has had a very disappointing season was released by the club.
As a replacement, Bagan has recruited Christopher Chizoba on loan from Kolkata based club Peerless SC. When the transfer window opens in January, he will be awarded a 6-month contract.
Chizoba is expected to play in Bagan’s next I-League fixture against United SC on Friday. Mohun Bagan are currently in the 11th spot in the league table with 11 points and only securing 2 wins out of the 11 matches they have played so far.
