Real Madrid and Spain centre-back Raul Albiol has made a move from the Spanish giants to Italian outfit Napoli. Albiol has signed a four-year contract with the club and the deal is expected to be around €12m.
The club released the following statement on their official twitter account:
“Now it’s official @ R_Albiol is a player of the # SSCNapoli for the next four years # BienvenidoRaul”.
The defender spent four seasons at Madrid but failed to establish himself in the starting eleven. The move to Napoli will unite him with his former Valencia boss Rafa Benitez and probably earn him more game time as well.
