Paris Saint-Germain to go for Ronaldo and Mourinho

Could PSG get the star duo?

Paris Saint-Germain have declared interest in signing Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo and manager Jose Mourinho.

The cash-rich PSG, who have already made Swedish Zlatan Ibrahimovic the highest paid player, are now reportedly on the hunt for luring Ronaldo with a mouth-watering deal.

When Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, the right-hand man to PSG’s oil-rich owner Sheikh Nasser Al Khelaifi, was asked during a TV interview in France about their plans to get the Real Madrid duo, he replied saying, “Of course. You have to be motivated in the world of sport and do what’s best for your club, make the right investments at the right time.”

Many reports have claimed that the Qatari owners are ready to sign a deal worth £75million with the Portuguese striker, and Mourinho is expected to follow suit.

Al-Thani added: “Paris Saint Germain is one of the best clubs in the world, I’m sure. From the start, our goal has been to win the Champions League. I don’t think it’s difficult, we’re one of the best clubs in France and we hope to become the best club in Europe and even the world.”
