Arsenal have managed to win the first two league games of the season for the first time in 10 years. The Gunners were not at their best but managed to get the job done against Burnley, who will feel they deserved a little more from the game.

Arsenal are now on six points, in stark contrast to last season where they lost the opening two games of the season. This was an especially important victory for Unai Emery's men as they face Liverpool and Tottenham next, in which they're clearly not favorites to win.

Here is a look at three players who played a huge role in their side's win:

#3 David Luiz

Always a big presence at the back, the ex-Chelsea man brought loads of experience to an Arsenal defense that has lacked a leader for many years. The game required David Luiz to be staunch and level-headed at the back, which is exactly what he was. He also showed his range of passing ability in the first half.

Most of what the Gunners did today was due to their defense letting them play out from the back. And the Brazilian was instrumental in winning the ball and sending Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on their way.

Burnley had players like Ashely Barnes who troubled the Arsenal backline every time the Gunners lost possession, but Luiz helped cancel out Burnely's attacks on more than one occasion.

#2 Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

The Gabonese striker was the match-winner for Arsenal for the second time in a row. He didn't see much of the ball during the game, but when he did he was clinical where he needed to be - in front of goal.

Last season's golden boot winner, Aubameyang was always a menace in the Burnley box with his quick movement and sharp runs through the middle. He perfectly suits the gameplay that Emery sets up; he and Lacazette showed glimpses of how well they can combine up front, just like they did last season.

Aubameyang will be Arsenal's main man this season, and he'll certainly be the one Liverpool's defense have to contain next weekend.

#1 Dani Ceballos

The Spaniard, on loan from Real Madrid, was magnificent in his full debut in the Premier League. He was the architect for both the Arsenal goals with his two assists - only the third player in Arsenal history to do so on debut.

Ceballos showed in this game what we saw at the Bernabeu last season - he was consistently on the ball with his brilliant short- and long-passing ability. His intelligent work saw him win the ball in midfield and set up Aubameyang for the second goal.

Full of energy with his flicks and turns, Ceballos moved the ball around swiftly and was adept at switching play from one part of the field to another. The Spaniard is another player who could be crucial to Arsenal's season, and it is imperative that Emery makes full use of him before he goes back to Madrid.
