Premier League News: Defiant Lampard dismisses suggestions of inexperience after Chelsea appointment
New Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard said that he "believes in himself completely" and is ready for to answer those critics who have questioned his level of managerial experience.

The 41-year-old was appointed on Thursday by the Stamford Bridge club, where he spent 13 years as a player and won three English Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League in 2012.

Lampard had been in charge of second tier side Derby County for 14 months - in his first managerial post he led the club to the Championship play-off final last season.

The former England international replaces Maurizio Sarri, who took charge of Juventus in June, after the Italian led Chelsea to a third place finish in the Premier League and secured UEFA Europa League honours last term.
