Premier Leauge: Pochettino says shortening the Premier League transfer window is 'big mistake'
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino said on Friday that shortening the Premier League transfer window is a 'big mistake.'
The Premier League transfer window closed on Thursday (8th August), stopping clubs from bringing in more players from that date.
However other European leagues, like La Liga and the Bundesliga, are able to buy players up until their windows close on 2nd September.
Pochettino said on Friday that Premier League clubs are now at a disadvantage in European competitions because of this as it can 'create a mess in clubs in England.'
