PSG v Real Madrid Preview, where to watch in the US, live stream details, TV schedule and more | Champions League 2019/20
Zinedine Zidane's return to the Champions League after a season away begins with a tough test as he takes his Real Madrid side to Paris. Both sides have shown that they're not infallible and in that sense, we may be up for an imperfect but entertaining tie for fans of either side.
Despite a poor recent record against Real Madrid (D2 L3), the Parisians, on their home patch, will be fired up to take on the Spanish side as they launch their latest bid to be champions of Europe. The French outfit is unbeaten at home in group stage games for the last 21 matches, although this promises to be as tough a test as any.
The Los Blancos, meanwhile, would look to improve on last season's Champions League performance in which they suffered 3 defeats, which hadn't happened since 2012-13.
Under Carlo Ancelotti and Zidane, they became quite an elite force in Europe's premier club competition. And, now it seems they have to rebuild under the tutelage of the latter and recapture some of that lost magic.
When these two come together, there will be as much talk of those who are missing the game as there will be of those playing the matches. Of the squad that is available to both sides currently, Zidane seems to have the slightly better options, especially with Eden Hazard and James Rodriguez recently returning to fitness.
