Real Madrid are almost out of the title race after the 1-1 draw.

Real Madrid’s title hopes were dented after they drew 1-1 away against Real Valladolid last night. Ancelotti’s men came into this match on the back of a 2-2 draw at home against Valencia. This was a crucial encounter in terms of La Liga title race.

Casillas started his first league match while Gareth Bale was rested for the encounter.

Madrid took the lead with a superb first half free-kick from defender Sergio Ramos who stepped in to deliver from the set-piece in absence of Ronaldo. Ronaldo was taken off just after nine minutes into the game as the Portuguese was not feeling comfortable.

It looked like Real would manage to hold on to their slender lead but that wasn’t the case as Valladolid equalised in the 85th after Humberto Osorio scored from a well delivered corner.

Here are the goals from the match.
