Hello and welcome to the Real Madrid transfer news and rumours of the day! Here are the top stories of the day surrounding the Galacticos!

Pjanic speaks on interest

Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic has spoken about the interest of other clubs. The midfielder has been linked with the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.

And now, the Bosnian has claimed that the reports of interest in him are true but he had no desire to leave the Old Lady. He also added that he isn’t sure whether Juventus will be the last big club he plays for as there are a lot of factors beyond the control of a player.

“There was some interest, it’s true, but I had no reason to change club,” he said.

“I don’t know if Juventus will be my last big club, because transfers don’t just depend on the player, but also on the club and who might or might not need you in that role.”

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is willing to sell Marco Asensio in the summer transfer window according to reports in Spain. The youngster was supposed to be the next big star at Real Madrid and a lot was expected from him since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, he hasn’t been able to fulfill the expectations and Perez is willing to let him go for €150 million with Liverpool and Chelsea among the clubs interested in him.

Firpo deal under scrutiny

With yet another injury, there is a chance that Real Madrid withdraw their interest in Juan Firpo, according to AS. The left-back has picked up four injuries in the last year and a half and his latest injury against Rennes could be a blow in the club’s hopes of attracting a big-money buyer.
