Hello and welcome to the Real Madrid's latest transfer news and rumours of the day! Today is Deadline Day and much isn’t expected on Madrid’s front tonight. Nevertheless, here are the top stories surrounding the Galacticos tonight!

#4 Bale’s agent opens up

The agent of Gareth Bale, Jonathan Barnett, has stated that his client never wanted to leave Real Madrid at all. After Bale scored two goals in the Champions League final against Liverpool to conclude the season for Real Madrid, he had mentioned that he would like to play more, be it at Madrid or someplace else.

However, his words were interpreted as though he wanted to leave the club and now, Barnett revealed that Bale never wanted to leave because he always thought that he was an important member of the squad.

“No, Gareth never wanted to leave Real Madrid. By the end of the 2017/18 season, some people were unfair but he always felt as an important player for the team. He just never wanted to leave,” explained Barnett.

Barnett then went on to criticise the fans for being angry at a superstar like him while also adding that some reporters in the press have some sort of an agenda going on against the former Tottenham man, who joined the Galacticos back in 2013, and labelled them as being "jealous" of the Welshman.

“Some the fans have been angry at him and maybe that’s been unfair, but in reality, they’ve realized they were wrong, he’s a superstar and definitely a Real Madrid calibre player.

"Some reporters had an agenda against him and that’s been unpleasant. I guess they were jealous and that’s why they had such an agenda,” concluded Barnett.

#3 Conte got Madrid offer

The former Chelsea and Juventus manager has lifted the lid on Madrid making an offer for him after sacking Julen Lopetegui. Following the dismissal of the Spaniard, the former Italy manager was linked to the job but in the end, the club ended up appointing Santiago Solari on a permanent basis.

And now, Conte has revealed that he did get an offer from the Galacticos but likened it to a "hot potato" and that he thought it would be better to reject it since he doesn't like joining a club in the middle of a season and, like most managers, likes to start from the beginning.

"The Real Madrid job was a hot potato at the time," he said. "I thought it was better not to go. There was a possibility, but I don't like arriving at a club in the middle of a season, I prefer to work from the start."

#2 Hakimi deal done

Real Madrid have had great luck with sending youngsters to Bundesliga for the purpose of their footballing education. They did it with Dani Carvajal at Bayer Leverkusen and then continued the tradition by sending Achraf Hakimi on loan at Borussia Dortmund.

Things have gone far better than anyone would have expected as Hakimi has set the Bundesliga on fire. He is putting in tremendous performances with the German outfit and now, he might just return to the Bernabeu next season itself.

While Hakimi joined the Ruhr outfit on a two yearlong loan deal, Madrid are expected to call him back this summer itself. According to reports, the deal to bring him back in the summer has already been completed and he will join the squad again from next season.

Real Madrid have once again been linked to Marcus Rashford. The Manchester United star has found his name stuck to Real Madrid and it just refuses to go away. According to reports, Real Madrid are willing to bring the youngster to the Bernabeu and would offer the Red Devils a massive fee of €110 million.

Meanwhile, reports from Spain claim that Real Madrid have turned their attention towards Real Mallorca once again as they eye the pair of Pablo Ramon and Xavi Sintes, who are the crown jewels of the Mallorcan academy.

The report further adds that the pair are set to join this summer for a combined fee of only a million euros as the Galacticos keep their eye on the future.
