Vallejo wants Madrid stay

Real Madrid defender Jesus Vallejo has claimed that he wants to stay at the club next season. When asked about whether Zidane has spoken to him about his plans for the future, he stated that they only talk about the recently-concluded season.

The Spaniard claimed that he is very happy at Real Madrid and wants to stay at the club because he feels loved by everyone. He also added that Zidane gave him confidence in the last few games and that he is looking forward to next season.

"We [Vallejo and Zidane] only talk about how the season has gone," Vallejo said. "But I am clear that I want to stay.
"I want to stay. I am very happy in the club and I feel very loved by the fans as well as by my team-mates.
"The coach also gave me confidence in the last matches. I'm looking forward to the new season to help the team.

Speaking about last season, Vallejo stated that it was complex due to the injuries he suffered but that it ended up improving him to a certain extent. He finished off by stating that he was happy with how he finished but that the team as a whole have to improve next season.

"It has been a complicated season, especially at the beginning due to injuries. It's not been easy, but it made me improve myself.
"I am very happy with how I finished, for having done it playing and finding myself well. As for the team, we have to improve and learn a lot from this year."

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has given his opinion on Chelsea star Eden Hazard. The Spain captain thinks that Hazard is a top player but he is not the one in charge of the transfers.

He stated that he doesn’t even give advise on who to sign and, hence, Hazard’s signing isn’t dependent on him. He finished off by claiming that there are other people at Madrid to take the responsibility of transfers.

‘I consider Eden Hazard to be a really, really top player,’ he said.
‘I do not give any advice to anyone, nor does it depend on me whether or not Hazard is signed, for example.
‘This is an area outside of my domain. I’m the captain, and there are other departments to oversee the likes of recruitment at the club.’

Hazard is expected to join Madrid soon.

Ferland Mendy and a list of defenders

Ferland Mendy is a player of Zidane’s liking and the Galacticos have been linked with the Frenchman for a while now. Even though Reguilon had an outstanding season, Zidane does not seem to be too convinced by the Spaniard's qualities.

As a result, he wants the Lyon star to compete with Marcelo. According to reports from Marca, the deal to sign Mendy is very close to happening as the only remaining thing is to finalize the last details of the transfer.

His signing could be made official by this week.

Meanwhile, according to another report, Real Madrid have drawn up a list of defenders they want to sign which includes another center-back for whom they have allocated a huge €100 million budget.

They like Virgil Van Dijk the most but are aware that it would be very difficult to sign him. De Ligt, Koulibaly and Skriniar are the other names.

Sergio Ramos has another option

Just a few days ago, Sergio Ramos was linked with a move to China. He was reported to have been offered a huge deal by a Chinese club but they wanted Real Madrid to let him go for free.

In the end, those reports turned out to be true as Perez confirmed an offer from China. Ramos later announced a press conference to claim that he was staying at Madrid and that should he ever leave, it would be as a winner.

However, according to reports, Ramos has received another offer but this time it is not from China. PSG are reportedly interested in bringing Ramos to Paris and could actually offer Real Madrid money in order to so.

It will then be up to Florentino Perez to decide whether he wants to sell his captain, who only just mentioned that he would like to stay at Real Madrid.
