Mbappe to Real Madrid
Kylian Mbappe has been linked to Real Madrid ever since he burst onto the scene with Monaco. He added further fuel to the fire a few days ago when he made some rather controversial statements after winning the Ligue 1 Player of the Year award.
He claimed that the moment holds a lot of importance for him and that he is arriving at an important point where he wants to have more responsibility – if not at PSG then at some place else.
"This is a very important moment for me. I am arriving at the second turning point in my career," he continued.
"I have discovered an enormous amount of things here. It is maybe the moment to have more responsibilities, maybe at PSG, with pleasure, or elsewhere for a new project. In any case thanks everyone!"
As expected, his words sparked a lot of rumours but PSG’s official account took to Twitter to discard the stories. They claimed that the club have a great relationship with the youngster and will continue to do so.
They also added that PSG are keen on creating history in the Champions League with Mbappe in the team.
"Very strong ties have united Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappe for two years and this story will continue together also next season," the statement read.
"With the shared ambition to write the history of European football, in the year of the 50th anniversary of PSG, a long awaited moment to write together a big page in the history of our club and in which everyone will have to do his part, always giving value to the collective."

Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid stories won’t go away unless the player actually ends up joining the Galacticos. According to ESPN pundit Alejandro Moreno, the player is set to stay at PSG this summer.
While Moreno thinks that the Frenchman is ready to play for Real Madrid and that the Galacticos should splash the cash on him instead of Paul Pogba, he believes Mbappe’s words about staying at PSG for next season at least.
“He’s been asked this question 1000 times, and 1000 times he’s said his place is at PSG,” said Moreno.
“So I’m going to believe Kylian Mbappe. Is he really [sending a message], didn’t he just sign a new contract?
“He’s ready, if a team like Real Madrid comes knocking. If they want to make a splash, they can forget Paul Pogba and go after this guy.
“But I don’t think it’s going to happen.”
Bale and Mane
Gareth Bale has been linked with a move out of Real Madrid ever since Zinedine Zidane came back to the club. Indeed, the Welshman wasn’t even allowed to play a single minute in Madrid’s last match of the season against Eibar.
However, according to Marca, the player hasn’t said goodbye to any of his team-mates as he doesn’t want to leave Real Madrid right now. The report also added that he doesn’t have a healthy relationship with manager Zinedine Zidane.
Meanwhile, another report from Spain claims that the Galacticos are still interested in acquiring the signature of Sadio Mane. The Senegalese has been linked with the Galacticos ever since Zidane took over and the stories still live.
According to the report, Florentino Perez believes that €140 million would be enough to bring the Liverpool star to the Santiago Bernabeu.
