What's the story?

According to AS, Barcelona have received a massive offer of €65 million from a Chinese Super League side for the signing of their forward, Malcom.

The aforementioned report claims that Valverde is satisfied with the bit-part role Malcom has played this season. However, the Brazilian star naturally wants more game time and might embrace a move to China.

In case you didn't know...

In the summer transfer window of 2018, Malcom's transfer became the talk of the town after Barcelona snatched him from under Roma's nose for a fee worth €40 million. He is currently under contract at La Blaugrana until 2023.

The heart of the matter...

When he arrived at Barcelona from Bordeaux in the summer, Malcom had definitely expected to be awarded a much more important role than what has been the case so far.

The 21-year-old has just managed a single start in La Liga for Barcelona. His only goals this season came against Cultural Leonesa and Inter. For the better part of the 2018/19 season, the likes of Luis Suarez, Dembele and Coutinho has taken up his position in the first team.

Recently, reports were floating around which understood that Malcom was displeased with his lack of action and was pushing for a move away from Camp Nou in January.

Rumor rating: 6/10

The report comes from a reliable source. Besides, the circumstantial evidence also points to the imminent departure of Malcom. Obviously, he is not short of suitors who would be looking to strike while the iron is hot.
