Hello and welcome to the Premier League transfer news and rumours of the day! Here are the top stories of the day surrounding the Premiership!

Update on Jurgen Klopp’s future

After winning the Champions League with Liverpool, the Reds are keen on keeping the German tactician at the club, according to his agent Marc Kosicke.

Klopp led the Reds to their 6th Champions League title and Kosicke revealed that while the German would be keen on managing the national side one day, he wants to stay at Liverpool right now as the Champions League-winning celebrations made him realise what a great club the Anfield outfit are.

“Jurgen himself once said that in the event that Joachim Low someday no longer wants to be the national coach and it would be possible for him do that [job], this is an option for him,” Kosicke told German outlet Welt.
“Liverpool would even like to extend it,” he added.
“[Jurgen] felt again at the recent celebrations [after winning the Champions League], what a great club Liverpool is, and that he is in the right place at the right time.”

A bit about Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba is perhaps the most active player in the transfer rumour mill as according to reports in France, the Galacticos are set to make their first offer worth €80 million for the Frenchman.

The Merengues want to include Gareth Bale in the deal to reduce the cash but the Welshman isn’t keen on lowering his wages, something that would be necessary if he is to join the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, The Times claim that Juventus are set to make a mammoth €134 million offer for Paul Pogba. The Old Trafford outfit, however, are set to resist any offers that are made for their prized asset.

Former Barcelona player Kleberson has stated that Dani Alves is a great player that he wants to see in the MLS. However, should the Brazilian opt against going to the US right now, Kleberson thinks that he would be a perfect addition to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side.

Kleberson feels that Alves would be a great fit to the Merseyside outfit because Klopp would admire the playing style of the former Barcelona star. Kleberson finished off by claiming that the defender is a winner who has a supreme temperament in big games.

“I wanted to get Dani Alves to join me in the MLS. He’s a phenomenal player with amazing quality,” Kleberson said.
“I feel maybe he could fit in well at Liverpool and Klopp would like him as a style of player.
“He’s very technical, fast and has an incredible temperament in the big games. He’s a winner.”

Tottenham don’t seem to be done with the transfer market just yet as they are being linked with a number of players, which also includes Italian midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo.

According to a report from Corriere Dello Sport, the Lilywhites have made a €23 million plus Toby Alderweireld bid for Zaniolo. The report also claims that the north Londoners face competition from Juventus, which is the preferred destination of the midfielder.

Meanwhile, according to BBC, Crystal Palace are close to agreeing a deal to bring Swansea City star Jordan Ayew to the club permanently. The Ghana star has been on loan at Selhurst Park ever since Swansea got relegated and now, he is reportedly set to sign for them permanently for €2.5 million.

The report also claims that Swansea are keen to remove some of the highest earners from the club as it is hampering the club’s finances.

Leicester City are reportedly set to sign Youri Tielemans permanently from AS Monaco, according to Sky Sports. The talented player spent the second half of last season at the King Power Stadium on loan from Monaco.

And now, it seems like the loan is set to be made permanent. Tielemans is set to undergo a medical at Leicester as the two clubs are close to reaching an agreement for him. The fee is reportedly close to the region of £40 million, which would be a club record.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have beaten PSG to the signing of West Brom starlet Louie Barry, according to ESPN. The youngster only just turned 16 and recently confessed that he would be leaving West Brom for a new challenge.

As a result, a lot of top European clubs were after his signature. He initially went for a medical at PSG before changing his heart and heading to Barcelona.
