According to reports from Spanish outlet, Marca, the Supercopa de España or Spanish Super Cup is set to experience changes in its structure from next season.

The Supercopa de España is a competition in Spanish football, that pits the winner/runner-up of the La Liga against the winner/runner-up of the Copa Del Rey. Since 1982, the Supercopa de España was played for the first time in a neutral venue at the opening phrase of the 2018-19 season.
FC Barcelona, the current holders of the trophy, lead the line with 13 titles to their names, while their arch-rivals, Real Madrid come second with 10. If we take a look at some individual records, we will find out that most of the records are seized by Argentine maestro, Lionel Messi.
